We are healthcare innovators, challenging the old dogmas of medicine in the realm of neurological disorders.  #

Our cutting-edge technology utilizes non-invasive tissue engineering technology designed to stimulate proteins thought to aid in regenerating brain cells and healing a neurological condition. Through our technology, we hope to revolutionize the treatment of neurological disorders.

Headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, USA, near the National Institutes of Health (NIH), we are strategically positioned in Maryland’s vibrant biotechnology corridor. Our clinical research center is based in Monterrey, Mexico where we conduct clinical trials and ongoing research.

Our Mission: Repairing the Brain  #

The brain is the most complex organ in the human body. It controls a person's thinking, behavior, movement, and more. Due to the complexity of its structure, many medical conditions of the brain are challenging to cure. Our mission reflects our founder's dedication to understanding the brain and advancing solutions to repair its injuries—especially conditions that are considered incurable.

Our commitment is to push the boundaries of medicine, helping people with neurological conditions live healthier, happier, and more productive lives.

Our Founder's Journey #

Dr. J. Roberto Trujillo’s journey began in medical school, where he learned that brain damage was irreversible. Determined to challenge this belief, he dedicated his career to understanding the brain and finding solutions - a mission he calls "Curing the Incurable."

Portrait of Dr. Roberto Trujillo

During his fellowship in Neurology and Neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine, he realized the limitations of existing treatments for neurological conditions. This insight drove him to deepen his expertise, obtaining a Doctorate in Neurosciences and Molecular Virology from Harvard University. Early in his career, his research focused on the impact of HIV on the brain during the AIDS epidemic, addressing a critical challenge of that time.

After more than 25 years of research in basic and clinical neuroscience, Dr. Trujillo shifted his focus to translational medicine, aiming to address the brain disorders he had studied. In 2017, he founded NeuroCytonix, a company dedicated to developing solutions for incurable neurological disorders. To research the potential of NeuroCytonix’s ‘Functional Neurogenesis Stimulation,’ a pioneering neural regenerative technology, he established an International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) E6R3 clinical research center in Monterrey, Mexico, in 2018.

As CEO and Chairman of NeuroCytonix, Dr. Trujillo leads a dedicated team working to transform the future of neurological conditions. NeuroCytonix embodies the culmination of his life's work and vision.

How are we revolutionizing the approach to brain health? #

At NeuroCytonix, our protocols are focused on enhancing the natural process of nerve cell repair to restore function and relieve symptoms for people with neurological conditions.

Our protocol uses a combination of instantaneous magnetic fields and radiofrequency signals delivered to damaged areas of the brain by our medical technology. Because of the nature of our regenerative medicine approach, research into our protocol’s impact on people with neurological disorders is ongoing.
